Think of your seating chart like a reverse mullet!
START THE CHART EARLY
As with all tasks - wedding related or not - starting early is a key component to successful seating arrangements. This gives you ample time to make tweaks as the big day gets closer without causing any last minute stress.
THINK OF THE LAYOUT AS A REVERSE MULLET
One of the best tips we've learned from one of our brides is to "seat the fun people closest to the dance floor!" (Party in the front!) Additionally, she sat grandparents and other folks who might want to sit and chat farther away from the dance floor so they could carry on conversations without straining to hear. (Business in the back!)
👉 GROUP YOUR GUESTS
Seat guests with people they know or have things in common with. This is pretty common knowledge, but it bears repeating. Who knows, maybe those singles you seat next to each other will hit it off and you won't have to send them on that blind date you've been dreaming of!
